Presenter view and keys

Open /presenter (or press S). It shows:

  • current and next — the next box names the step it will show (Step 2), not just the slide;
  • notes split at [click], with the segment for the current step highlighted;
  • a timer with pacing — defaultTiming (seconds per slide), a slide’s own timing, or totalTime for the whole talk;
  • tools — draw, laser, spotlight, blackout, share notes, share terms, confetti, camera, record, mirror, link;
  • the room panel — the join QR code, presence, pace, questions and polls. It collapses to a rail with badges for raised hands, open questions and open polls.

On a hosted deck the presenter view asks for the deck’s presenter passcode, which you set in the dashboard; without it, a window can only watch.

Each pen is a colour family, and a stroke drifts through it as it travels. Strokes are scribbles: they linger for five seconds and unwind along their own path on every screen. The pin keeps them. Drawings are kept per slide, so a stroke reaches viewers on the slide it was drawn on.

Share window opens /?projector: a window that exists to be looked at — a second screen, or the one window to share on a video call. It renders the deck exactly as / does, with your laser and pen, and accepts no input at all, so a stray key press on a shared window in the middle of a call can never move the deck.

? shows the sheet on any deck.

  • /?view=scroll — the deck as one scrolling page.
  • /notes — every note on one page.
